I always knew I wanted to work as a professional Music Teacher since I have a fierce love of working with people and sharing my true passion with them. I’ve had plenty of experience working with students of all levels and skills - from beginners to real experts. No matter who I’m teaching, I thrive on seeing my students grow and develop as they discover what they can achieve.
Wayne Morrison is an excellent music teacher. Over the past five years, I have gone to him for lessons in guitar and ukulele.
Until I was over 70, I had had no musical education whatsoever. But, since then, Wayne has inspired me to keep working at these instruments; and, although at my age I will never be a great musician, my feeling for, and understanding of, the basic essentials has come on by leaps and bounds. I am deeply grateful for this new-found hobby, and for the enjoyment it has given me.
Wayne's own musical skill is inspiring. He makes the lessons interesting, and the necessary skills attainable. He goes to great lengths to provide the music and the mp3's needed for practice and development.
Within the past year, I have started going to his fortnightly ukulele sessions where a group of us meet to make music. These are always well-organised, interesting and enjoyable. In the course of these sessions I have discovered many wonderful songs I never knew before.
Without hesitation, I can thoroughly recommend Wayne as a teacher of music.
